We the members of Virtuous Sisterhood, strive to build a multicultural sisterhood by educating the whole person through spirituality, virtue, relationships, service, and academic excellence. When contemplating our presence on ACU’s campus we hope to add diversity not only by the color of our skin but also by our experiences and backgrounds. Virtuous Sisterhood hopes to be a place where women of color and virtue can feel like they have sisters that will propel the value of excellence holistically. The activities that VAHS, now Virtuous Sisterhood, have taken part in embodies what we stand for as Christian women. Whether community service with Communities In Schools, where we deal with young women in at risk situations, DaCipher, dealing with male and females from ignored environments, or even international by aid by working with Village of Hope all of these not only dealt with those of color but all those who share in Human struggles. Outside of community service we also like to create a camaraderie with other groups on campus to add social interaction amongst the student body such as Empowerment Encounters, Devotionals, and Open Mic Night.
