SPS-Society of Physics Students

The Society of Physics Students (SPS) is a national organization for advancing the undergraduate interest in physics.  The ACU chapter of SPS puts on forums that investigate current societal issues through a scientific lens.  We also tutor at local high schools, conduct a chapel every Wednesday, put on events that strengthen the relationships of the students in our physics department, and reach out to connect with the other chapters in our community.  Our members try to attend as many local and national physics conferences as possible where our students sit in on physics presentations and also present posters of their own about research they have conducted.  Anyone who has a passion for
science may join!
