Rollover: Congress Learns of Meal Plan Changes

ACU is taking another step forward toward the goal of having a “premiere dining program.”  Head of Business Services, Anthony Williams, spoke with Congress on Wednesday to explain the changes that would go into effect beginning next fall.

One of the most anticipated changes that will excite the student body is the changes to Bean Bucks: they now rollover! Bean Bucks bought in the fall can still be used in the spring so there’s no need to rush during the final week of the semester. Also, students will have the option to upload, or add more Bean Bucks during the middle of the semester.

Meal plans now offer unlimited access to the Bean, so students no longer need to worry about when they can use their meal plan.  Plans are offered that include 7 day all-access and 5 day all-access.  Due to the the changes, students will only be allowed 10 carryout meals per semester.  But another advantage to the change is that students are now granted 5 guest passes; these allow students to bring in a guest 5 times per semester into the Bean.
